By accessing or using the Slideparty.app Service in any way, including Browsing the website, creating an account, joining a room, generating or entering topics, giving kudos and feedbacks, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use the Service. Any player or user accessing the website or participating in a room implicitly accepts these terms.

2. Description of Service

Slideparty.app is a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform designed to facilitate "slide parties". Key features include user gathering in virtual rooms, AI-powered theme generation for presentations, the option for users to manually input presentation topics, start a timer and give kudos to presenters.

3. Beta Service and Future Changes

You acknowledge that the Service is currently offered in a beta phase and is provided free of charge. Slideparty.app reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. Furthermore, Slideparty.app reserves the right to introduce fees for the use of the Service or certain features in the future. Continued use of the Service after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.

4. User Accounts and Privacy

To access certain features, you may need to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Your email address provided during registration or use will not be visible to other users within the Service. However, authorized administrators of Slideparty.app will have access to user email addresses for administrative, support, and communication purposes related to the Service. 5. User Conduct and Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, or other content ("User Content") that you submit, post, or display on or via the Service. You agree to:

• * Not attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property and Content Ownership

Service Ownership

Slideparty.app retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all related intellectual property rights.

Theme Ownership

Any topics generated by the AI features ("Generated Topics") become the property of Slideparty.app upon generation.

Topics manually entered by users ("Manual Topics") are owned by the users who created them. By entering a Manual Theme, you grant Slideparty.app a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, and display the Manual Theme solely for the purposes of operating, improving, and promoting the Service. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant this license and that your Manual Theme does not infringe or violate the rights of any third party.

Use of Generated Topics

Slideparty.app reserves the right to reuse Generated Topics for any purpose, including but not limited to marketing materials, promotional activities, and public display. Generated Topics may be made publicly accessible on the website, for example, under the URL https://slideparty.app/topics.

Use of Manual Topics

Manual Topics you enter will only be accessible to other players within the specific room you are participating in and to authorized Slideparty.app administrators for service operation and moderation purposes. They will not be made publicly available or used in general marketing materials without separate permission.

Liability for Generated Topics

Slideparty.app is not liable for the content, accuracy, appropriateness, or any potential intellectual property infringements contained within Generated Topics. Users utilize Generated Topics at their own risk.

Third-Party Trademarks

Slideparty.app may refer to concepts associated with slide presentations. PowerPoint® is a registered trademark of Microsoft Corporation. Any reference to third-party trademarks is for descriptive purposes only and does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement by the trademark owner.

7. AI Generated Content Disclaimer

The AI theme generation feature provides suggestions based on algorithms. This generated data should be handled with care. It may contain errors, inaccuracies, biases, or unexpected outputs. Slideparty.app makes no representations or warranties regarding the quality, suitability, or originality of AI Generated Topics.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. SLIDEPARTY.APP IS AN EXPERIMENTAL SERVICE AND SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A SIDE PROJECT. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE OF UPTIME, RELIABILITY, DATA RETENTION, OR FUNCTIONALITY.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLIDEPARTY.APP, ITS AFFILIATES, AND ADMINISTRATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (a) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (b) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; (c) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE, INCLUDING AI GENERATED THEMES; OR (d) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

9. Modifications to Terms

Slideparty.app reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on the website or through other communication channels. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. These Terms may evolve in the future.

10. Termination

Slideparty.app may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
